When Ally and Justin mentioned that Big Lake was a special place for them and maybe it would be a cool spot for engagement photos, I immediately agreed. And then I found out it was four hours away!
But sometimes…you have to get away from all the traffic, all the noise, all the emails…and just be quiet and enjoy nature. I am so in love with these photos and this couple. I’d only been up here once before, and it was wintertime, so the entire area looked new to me. And we just explored. I think that’s one of the big reasons I love it so much…this was organic and unplanned. We looked, we stopped, we hiked, we laughed, we took pictures and then we went somewhere else.
And of course…finishing the night off with a sunset like that was the icing on the cake.
