I first met Kathryn at Michelle and Scott’s wedding back in October of 2013, and shortly after received an email from her about her own wedding! Hands down, my favorite kinds of clients are people I’ve already met at other weddings! You feel like you already know them and it makes everything that much easier. And to make it even more fun, Michelle was a bridesmaid at Kathryn’s wedding of course, and Scott was there as well! A mini-reunion.
Such a blast of a day. A lot of firsts for me on this one…never been to The Saguaro where the girls got ready, such a sweet, retro hotel. The Old Mission Church was where the ceremony was held, a beautiful, historic church built in 1933. Then we walked over to The Clayton on the Park for the reception.
A pleasure as always to work with Trista and Alex from BTS Event Management! We’ve hung out a lot this fall and I never get tired of it! It was great shooting alongside videographer Ryan Blake as well, he’s doing a fabulous job and it’s always great when we do a wedding together. Mandi from Butterfly Petals did the flowers, and well…I love them to pieces. And to Jeff Ambrose for helping me out as always.
The biggest thanks go to Kathryn and Ian of course. I had such a fun time on your engagement session and to finish it off with your wedding was perfection. I wish you guys the very best and hope you love this selection of some of my favorite images from your day!
