I honestly could talk forever about what an amazing guy Jeff Beamish is, but there are pictures here to look at so I don’t want to hold you back. Jeff is a meteorologist down at KVOA in Tucson and he’s become such a good friend, I honestly don’t think the monsoon would ever been the same here in AZ without him. He supports us storm chasers, he lets me bring in my annual workshop class for a tour of their station and his passion for weather is beyond repute.

He got married not too long ago and it didn’t take long for little Payton to show up. Jeff and his wife Ellisa asked me to take some photos of the trio up on Mt. Lemmon amidst the fall colors and I of course said yes.

Here’s a photo journal of the afternoon…needless to say, it was a blast. I’d never been up Mt. Lemmon before and it was simply beautiful. Hoping to head back there next summer. It’s kinda crazy how in the first photos below we’re surrounded by saguaro cactus and probably 30 minutes later we’re looking at pine trees and maples with red and yellow leaves. Incredible.
