Andrew and Carolyn…or as I will forever know them now…”The Cheney’s!” Their wedding is in July in La Jolla (yay!)…and I’m stoked. These are two funny people, although Andrew appears to be in a class all his own. He started the day off by giving Carolyn gifts…two lobsters (Friends’ reference FTW) and also a donut because once before he ate one that was hers and he’s always felt bad about it. He had a long monologue ready for everything and I swear I was laughing the entire time.
The story of their engagement is one for the record books…I couldn’t possibly remember all of it, but suffice to say, it spanned a weekend, took place starting in Phoenix, hitting Los Angeles and then back to Phoenix to celebrate. It was whirlwind adventure involving grandparents, family and best friends. I honestly have no idea how Andrew pulled it off. I humbly bow at your feet sir.
So we started off at Wally’s, and then hit El Chorro and finally a spot tucked away to overlook Phoenix at sunset. It’s an understatement to say I had a great time with these two. Can’t wait for the wedding day!
