What are the odds of it not only raining on your wedding day in Arizona, but also being a record-BREAKING day of rain at the same time? I have no clue, I’m a weather nerd but not that big of one…but I have to think they are astronomical.
That’s what happened a few Saturdays ago when Stephanie and Gabe got married at the gorgeous Secret Garden near South Mountain. It started to rain at 5am and with the ceremony not until 4:30, there was plenty of time for things to dry out right? No…because it was still raining at 10, and 11, and 1 and 2…and so the wedding got moved indoors.
But it did stop eventually and gave us an opening for portraits and family shots after the ceremony.
The most amazing part of the entire day was Stephanie and Gabe. None of this bothered them. They knew it might happen from the forecasts on Friday so they went with it and had fun. I think it was an awesome clue into just how happy these two are…that nothing was going to affect the main reason why this day was even happening…getting married.
Thanks so much guys for looking me up last year and for the drinks and the good times. You both are awesome and I am looking forward to seeing what comes next!
