Just over four years ago we sold our house in Chandler and moved to downtown Phoenix to help start a church. This past Sunday, New City Church moved into its very own building on 1300 N. Central. No words to describe the feeling I had all that morning.
I had planned on time-lapsing Sunday’s service, but being inspired by my buddy Jay Worsley and his Lost//Discovered film…I decided to shoot video as well. To capture everyone who was working so hard to get the building ready. Rehearsing. Cleaning. Putting out signs. Making coffee. DIrecting traffic. The people walking in with huge smiles. It was kind of emotional for me just to film it…this is something super meaningful to me.
I ended up not even using the time-lapse stuff. So here you go…New City’s first Sunday at 1300 N. Central.
