Liz & Nathan’s wedding at the Phoenix Art Museum

Really loved this one from last fall. Liz and Nathan were so sweet and kind, not just to me, but everyone there. And it’s always a treat when I get to shoot at the Phoenix Art Museum. They got ready at different locations but then we met up for a first look and then some photos at the museum. The ceremony was a bit later than usual, and got dark fast…which made some for some beautiful candlelit moments towards the end.

Julia + Peter | Wedding | Phoenix Art Museum

Julia and Peter’s wedding was a classy, classy affair. And a ton of fun. When I first heard that the wedding party would be making their way from The Westin hotel to the Phoenix Art Museum via Ollie the Trolley…I knew it would be an awesome day! They had welcome packets for their out-of-town guests, so they could have some snacks, find some things to do, get to the venue and just enjoy their stay. There was a 17-person orchestra. At the end of the night…churros and pretzels with cheese sauce. Winning.

This was simply a beautiful event between two amazing people. Julia is starting a charter school! I mean…I have no idea the kind of work and effort involved in something like that, but I know it would take some serious dedication and passion. I cannot wait to see what these two accomplish in their lives together.

Many thanks to hand out here…especially to Jennifer at Outstanding Occasions for introducing me to Julia and Peter and recommending me! She seriously rocked this wedding, not to mention the three girls she had helping. Super fun to work with them! And of course to my buddy Jeff Ambrose for once again being a fantastic shooting partner and killing it as per usual.

But mainly to Peter and Julia for trusting me with their big day and being awesome clients. From dipping their toes in the water of Watson Lake for their engagement shoot to their first dance together…it was such at treat to get to know these two. I wish you both the best of luck!

Teaser | Julia + Peter | Phoenix Art Museum

This weekend was my first ever wedding double-header. I could barely move on Sunday. But it was worth it. Julia and Peter’s event was just that. An event. It started at the gorgeous, absolutely beautiful Westin hotel and then it was an Ollie the Trolley ride over to the Phoenix Art Museum where the ceremony and reception were held. There was a 17-person orchestra. And churros/pretzels for the ride home. Perfection. Love these two and the evening was awesome. Thanks again to my buddy Jeff for all his help in capturing the day.

Here’s a little teaser. Full wedding story coming later!

Peter and Julia’s wedding was a stunning event which started in a gorgeous corner room on the 17th floor of the Westin and ended with a 17-piece orchestra. What an amazing night, can’t wait to share more from this day!
