Love seeing this family again and again. From Pat and Chrystal’s wedding to this little cutie that joined the group. Wishing them the very best this Christmas!
I photographed Michelle and Scott’s wedding a few years ago and here they are with this little princess. And that epic dog. Time flies.
I’ve known the mom of this family for awhile now…she’s an amazing photographer herself and I met her first back on a couple of downtown Phoenix photowalks I ran a few years ago. Since then we’ve stayed friends on Facebook and supported each others’ work! It’s been so much fun to get to know her better and even banter back and forth a few times about horses or riding or something, I can’t remember haha! Maybe I don’t want to remember because I believe I got owned pretty good.
I was SO excited when she asked me to take some photos of her and her beautiful, beautiful family! I loved these kids, they were such fun and a total hoot. Parents always worry about how their kids are acting, but most of the time it’s never as bad as they think and these guys were amazing fun. They had no trouble being themselves, making faces or in little man’s case…looking super sad with that hoody. So good dude. Also he and I both had on gray All-Stars, plus I was wearing my Captain America tee with the shield logo, and HE had a star on his sweatshirt…so I felt like we were buddies before we even met!
Thanks so much guys for asking me to do this for you! Hope you enjoy!
A few weeks ago I took some pictures of this family, for about the third or fourth time, memory escapes me. I love them all so much, it’s been such a blessing to see the kids grow up, lose their teeth, get braces and all that fun stuff!
I also had Alejandra tag along as she’s filming my promo video (she’s in a few pics below) and I am beyond excited to see the finished product sometime next year. We still have a lot to film, but this was our first time working together and I was extra pumped that it got to be with this family. If anyone needs a promo video or something, definitely look up Alejandra, she’s disgusting awesome.
For some reason, right now, bleary-eyed, post-election groggy, post-Vegas-day-trip…I cannot think of where I met the Feeneys. But that’s just it. I feel like I’ve always known them. They are two of the nicest, nicest people I know. Like…I just love ’em. They run Surefire Photography right out of their home studio and rock.
I was overjoyed for them when I found out earlier this year that they were pregnant. I honestly couldn’t think of two people who’d be better parents. And then a little over a month ago, Michelle asked me to do a maternity shoot for them. I flipped out…I’ve never taken pictures of these two and just the fact that they asked me was a humbling experience.
So last week I got to hang out with Sean and Michelle for over an hour. And I have to say…if I thought they’d be great parents before, that feeling only increased by the end of the shoot. To me…being good parents starts first with being good friends. Best friends. And you can see how much these two adore each other in only a few minutes. You also can’t be around them without feeling their excitement over this unborn little boy. The joy on their faces is pretty easy to read.
Thank you guys so much for letting me do this for you! I had soooooo much fun and I am beyond happy for you both! Cannot wait to meet the little Peppercorn!!
