I feel so blessed that I got to be part of this wedding. I knew it was special months and month ago because of how passionate Wendy was about the photos and everything else, but from the moment I saw her on the big day, I could tell it was just extra meaningful. The tears started right after the hair and makeup were done, and then when she was writing her vows, and then when the dress went on…well you get it. The best day ever really.

During the ceremony David not only recited vows to her, but also to her son Toby. Loved it. Tears and “awwws” everywhere.

Wendy got ready at the Tempe Mission Palms, we hit up the old Flour Mill for First Look and then the wedding/reception itself happend at the Arizona Historical Society and Museum. After the ceremony Wendy bravely, and without complaining, hiked up a hill to get some shots against the amazing winter storm sky we had that night. I could tell it was rough in those high heels, but I knew it would be worth it. And it was.

The stormy skies turned to rain during the reception and everyone scrambled to move indoors. So awesome to see friends and family pull together to re-set up stuff inside and not miss a beat.

A special thanks to Rachel for helping me shoot this wedding, she had to deal with shirtless groomsmen and Commando beforehand, but she killed it like always.

Without further ado…here are the photos. Thank you Wendy and David and best of luck to you both!
