A recent vacation to San Diego

A few weeks ago we took a quick trip over to San Diego for two nights, visited two beaches and also the Scripps Aquarium. We rarely take little vacations these days, so it was a nice break for us to hang as a family without thinking much about stuff at home.

It was also awesome to watch Eli experience the ocean for the first time, and also for Lyla to be a bit older on her latest visit. She was afraid of going too far, of the big waves, but I watched her in amazement the entire time. She would run around, bounce, flap her arms, sing…like no one else in the world could see her. Or…more precisely…she didn’t care who saw. She’s a kid…and was doing what kids do.

Here’s some frames from those two days. And hey, I’m actually in a few…my apologies for that 🙂

Now I’m gonna have shirtless Mike nightmares.

Nice set dude – Your kids are so adorable! The shot of you tossing Eli into the sun wins. Really like the one of Lyla in front of the fountain. You need to do more fountain shots 😉

I’m not sure what to say about these – there’s two of me in my swimsuit (oh no), there are actually pictures of you (weird), and then there are a lot of birds (ugh, I hate birds.. why are they so shifty?)! But I loved our vacation, so I guess I like this post. 😉

These are awesome dude, looks like a blast of a vacation. Let’s try to keep the hairy chest off the blog in the future though my friend.
