I had to share this little outtake from the wedding shoot last weekend. The entire time we were at the zoo, people were waving, smiling and shouting out congratulations to Debra and Chris. It was a lot of fun to watch people get a grin on their face at seeing a wedding couple kind of out of place in this park for animals.

So we rode this gondola through the zoo in order to try and get a unique picture of the two newlyweds. While on the ride, there were the usual people waving and congratulating them as they moved by…but none of them appeared genuinely beyond excited as these two little girls.

You can see the utter joy on the middle one’s face in the upper picture. They just kept smiling and laughing, and when they got closer to me, I got ’em to give me a look so I could capture this moment.

One of my favorite’s from the day.

Oh, and I *heart* the 70-200mm 2.8.

I love these outtake shots Mike. Something tells me that they are the type of shots that will be the ones they the bride and groom keep coming back to. Well done my friend.

Hey Ashflight, missed your comment…I shoot with a 5D Mark II, the lens was a 70-200mm 2.8, but I borrowed that one 🙂
